Selamat  &  Sukses

Musyawarah Anggota WIGAPALA 2009

Semoga WIGAPALA tetap jaya !

Stop Global Warming

PUANASSSS.

AYO Kita berbuat untuk ALAM ini.

Asia Pacific inter Faith Yout Camp 2008

Declaration

Asia Pacific Inter Faith Youth Camp 2008

We, as the young people of Asia Pacific countries, who will inherit the earth and become the world’s future leaders, declare that:

Climate change is happening, that it is due to human activities, and that it will have significant social, economic and environmental consequences. These consequences will be unevenly distributed across geographical, social and generational boundaries, and will increase global inequality.

We, as young people, recognize addressing climate change is the challenge for our generation, and requires the action and cooperation of people from all faiths, cultures, and countries.

About: Greenpeace

Greenpeace is an international non-governmental organization for the protection and conservation of the environment. Greenpeace utilizes nonviolent direct action, lobbying and research to achieve its goals. Greenpeace has a worldwide presence with national and regional offices in over 40 countries, which are affiliated to the Amsterdam-based Greenpeace International. The global organisation receives its income through the individual contributions of an estimated 3 million financial supporters.

Greenpeace, originally known as the Greenpeace Foundation, was founded in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1972. On September 15, 1971, the Don’t Make a Wave Committee sent an eighty foot halibut seiner “Phylis Cormack”, from Vancouver, to oppose the United States testing nuclear devices in Amchitka, Alaska.[1] While the boat never reached its destination and was turned back by the US military, this campaign was deemed the first using the name Greenpeace.[2][3]
